A violent dispute over local supremacy has tragically resulted in the death of a farmer in Magura. Akbar Mondol, 55, from Mashalia village in Sreepur upazila, was allegedly attacked and killed by rivals with whom he had a long-standing feud. According to local accounts, Mondol was on his way to work in his field when the assailants allegedly ambushed him.
