The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported three additional child fatalities due to suspected measles within a 24-hour period. This brings the nation's total death toll from confirmed and suspected measles cases this year to 925.

All three recent deaths were classified as suspected measles fatalities. The cumulative number of suspected measles deaths now stands at 826, while the count of confirmed measles deaths remains at 99. In the same 24-hour period, 1,004 new suspected measles cases were reported nationwide, pushing the total number of suspected cases to 146,715. Additionally, 68 new confirmed measles cases were recorded, bringing the total laboratory-confirmed infections to 18,144.

Data from the DGHS indicates that since March 15, a total of 128,026 patients with suspected measles have been admitted to hospitals across the country. Of these, 123,684 have successfully recovered.
