The Ekota Samity, a local organization, fulfilled a bold pledge made before the tournament commenced: the sacrifice of a buffalo, valued at approximately Tk 200,000, and a grand feast for the community.

The buffalo was sacrificed in the afternoon amidst a festive atmosphere outside the Ekota Samity office in the Markas Mor area of Durgapur municipality. Hundreds of football enthusiasts converged to partake in the celebration, which had been in preparation since Argentina secured its spot in the final. The samity members jointly purchased the buffalo on Saturday, demonstrating the scale of their commitment.
