A tragic road accident in Senbagh upazila of Noakhali, Bangladesh, claimed the life of a newly married man on Thursday night. Md Al-Amin, 28, who ran a pharmacy business with his family, was killed when his motorcycle collided head-on with a battery-run auto-rickshaw.

The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the Senbagh-Sonaimuri road in the Kutirbari area. Al-Amin sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the Senbagh Upazila Health Complex. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after arrival.

Family members shared the heartbreaking detail that Al-Amin had only recently celebrated his marriage in an arranged ceremony on July 20, just three days before the fatal accident. The festive atmosphere at his home had barely subsided, and the newlywed bride was left in shock and sorrow as the household fell into silence.

Abdur Rahim Sarkar, Officer-in-Charge of Senbagh Police Station, confirmed the incident. He stated that police had visited the scene and that preparations were underway to file a case at the request of the victim's family. The Daily Star received this information on Friday morning.
