Oborevwori: Executive, Legislative Harmony Propelling Overall Progress in Delta

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State attributed the significant progress achieved in the state over the last three years to the harmonious relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government. Speaking at the 3rd Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly, Oborevwori noted that the prevailing peace and development are direct results of the strong partnership and mutual understanding between these branches.

He commended the Speaker, Hon. The governor stated that the lawmakers' constructive engagement has bolstered governance and improved the delivery of democratic dividends. Oborevwori pledged that his administration would continue to respect the Legislature's roles and responsibilities, grounding its leadership in divine principles.

Highlighting the importance of faith in leadership, Oborevwori encouraged continued prayer for those in authority, citing Proverbs 3:5-6. He urged the Assembly members to actively communicate government policies and achievements to the public, recognizing them as crucial links to the grassroots. Through constituency engagements and town hall meetings, lawmakers can foster public understanding of government initiatives and convey constituent needs.
