October 7 Survivor Dies by Suicide; Israel Deploys Units to Azerbaijan, Drone Explodes in Romania

A survivor of the October 7 Hamas attacks, who had witnessed his girlfriend and best friend being killed, has died by suicide. The young man's body was discovered in his car, which he had set on fire on Friday evening in Tel Aviv.

Roei Shalev survived the initial attack on October 7, but lost his girlfriend and his closest friend. Tragically, his mother died by suicide just two weeks after the attack.

In separate developments, CNN reported that Israel had secretly deployed elite military and intelligence units to Azerbaijan during its conflict with Iran. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly established clandestine positions in several countries bordering Iran, some without the knowledge of their host governments. These installations, initially intended for emergency missions, have evolved into significant intelligence gathering posts.

Meanwhile, in Romania, a Ukrainian naval drone exploded in the port of Constanta. This incident occurred just one week after an aerial drone crashed into a residential building in the same EU and NATO member country, injuring two people.
