Odegaard and Saka star in Arsenal player ratings against Chelsea

Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka stood out for Arsenal, both earning ratings of 8 after a match in which the club's attacking quality repeatedly troubled Chelsea.

Odegaard put Arsenal ahead early in the second half with a composed finish and impressed with his delivery in open play and from set-pieces. Saka remained a constant danger from dead-ball situations, regularly winning free-kicks in threatening positions. Chelsea goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez saved a strong second-half effort from the winger.

Kai Havertz also earned a 7 after scoring Arsenal's equaliser, cutting inside to finish two minutes after passing up an earlier shooting chance. He helped create Odegaard's goal and remained a threat from set-pieces. Christos Tzolis provided an important outlet from the left, while Riccardo Calafiori's adventurous runs helped Arsenal create problems from dead-ball situations.

Ezri Konsa made an impressive first Arsenal start. He won more duels than any other defender and shared the lead for possession won in the first half. David Raya also made a late, outstanding save from Estevao, while substitute Martin Zubimendi produced a lively performance after coming on, combining dangerous shooting with strong passing and defensive work.

Chelsea's Pedro Neto was rated 7 after marking Calafiori while also offering an attacking threat. He struck the post with a curling effort shortly before half-time. Chelsea's defenders had less convincing moments against Arsenal's front line, although Josh Acheampong handled his individual defensive duties well.
