Ogene wins NDC’s Reps ticket

Afam Ogene has secured the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) nomination to represent the Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives for the 2027 elections. The decision was finalized at the party's National Assembly primary election held in Atani, the headquarters of Ogbaru Local Government Area.

I thank the party supporters for finding me worthy to represent the party. And I urge every stakeholder to begin door-to-door sensitisation and mobilisation of voters in their respective neighbourhoods across Ogbaru Federal Constituency ahead of next year’s House of Representatives election.

Ogene, who is aiming for re-election, conveyed his appreciation to the party faithful for endorsing him. He attributed his selection to his track record of "quality representation, integrity in service, and servant-leadership," qualities that have apparently resonated with his constituents. He pledged to continue prioritizing the interests of the Ogbaru people should he be re-elected.

This will help the NDC secure a comprehensive victory in the 2027 general elections, including the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly elections.

Looking ahead to the general elections, Ogene called upon all stakeholders to initiate immediate door-to-door voter sensitization and mobilization campaigns across the constituency. He believes these efforts are crucial for the NDC to achieve a sweeping victory not only in the House of Representatives race but also in the presidential, senatorial, and State Assembly elections.
