Oh Hyeon-gyu deletes Besiktas posts, fueling transfer rumors among anxious fans

South Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu has removed the majority of his social media posts featuring his current club, Besiktas, sparking concern and speculation among the team's Turkish fanbase.

Fans are worried that the player might be on the verge of a transfer to a larger European club. Oh Hyeon-gyu's Instagram account now primarily features only his decisive goal against the Czech Republic and his debut goal for Besiktas, along with a club-tagged video.

This is not the first time Oh Hyeon-gyu has cleared his social media. He reportedly did so occasionally during his time with Suwon Samsung, leading some to believe he might be focusing on his national team commitments. However, Besiktas supporters are anxious, flooding his remaining posts with comments asking about the deleted content and expressing their pride in him.

Since joining Besiktas in February, Oh Hyeon-gyu has performed impressively, scoring 8 goals and providing 2 assists in 16 matches. He notably set a club record by scoring in his first three consecutive games after his transfer.
