Olmo Speaks on Incident and Alleged Apologies from Argentinian Staff: 'I Don't Need That at All'

Spanish footballer Dani Olmo emphasized that achieving goals requires rigorous work, extending beyond physical training on the field. He highlighted the critical importance of "invisible training," encompassing nutrition, rest, recovery, mental preparation, game analysis, and healthy habits.

"True progress depends on what you do when no one is watching," Olmo stated in an interview with the Spanish portal Diari de Terassa. He reflected on Spain's World Cup victory, noting the team's strong belief in their ability to win, even after demanding club seasons.

Olmo also addressed an incident following the final match against Argentina, where a member of the Argentinian coaching staff allegedly struck him. Olmo expressed his disbelief in the staff member's apology, which he felt was insincere because it attempted to justify the physical contact.

"If someone says they are sorry, but at the same time justifies the punch and claims it was a reaction to my insult, then they are probably not truly sorry," Olmo said. "They are not telling the truth because I didn't say anything to him, and therefore, I don't need his apology."
