Oman joins Nepal in honoring climbers lost on Pakistan's Broad Peak

Oman joined a solemn memorial ceremony in New York, organized by Nepal's Consulate General, to honor climbers who perished on Broad Peak in Pakistan. Ambassador Omar bin Said Al Kathiri, Oman's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, represented the Sultanate at the event.

The ambassador paid special tribute to Nadhira Al Harthy, a renowned Omani climber. Al Harthy also led the Omani-Nepalese Friendship Association and served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscat Free Walking Team, fostering ties between the two nations.
