Oman and Saudi Arabia have underscored the deep-rooted ties between their nations, emphasizing a commitment to continued joint action across various fields. The sentiment was expressed during a meeting between Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Manama, Bahrain.

The ministers convened within the framework of a joint ministerial meeting between GCC countries and the United States. Their bilateral discussion touched upon regional issues and developments, as well as matters of mutual cooperation under the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council's initiatives.
