OMEGA X member Jeonghoon leaves group due to health and career concerns

Jeonghoon, a member of the K-pop group OMEGA X, has officially departed from the band, according to a statement released by his agency, IPQ. The agency confirmed that Jeonghoon's last day as a member was June 1st.

IPQ explained that Jeonghoon's decision stemmed from accumulated health problems and extensive consideration of his future career path. The agency noted that they, along with the other members, had engaged in prolonged discussions with Jeonghoon, hoping for his continued participation. However, they concluded that the current situation might persist long-term, leading to his departure.

OMEGA X, which debuted in 2021, has faced various challenges. The group consists of members who previously debuted in other groups, aiming to provide a fresh start. The agency emphasized that OMEGA X will continue its activities as a seven-member group, reaffirming their commitment to their fans and future music.

"OMEGA X is a team that has strived to keep promises with fans with one heart amidst many difficulties," the statement read. "The remaining members will continue to firmly protect the name OMEGA X and repay fans with even better music and performances."
