Omniva to Redirect Regular Letter Mailings to Parcel Lockers

Omniva, the Estonian state-owned international technology and logistics company, is set to implement a new system for posting regular letters. Starting in September 2026, the company will install dedicated letter slots within its network of parcel lockers across the country.

This initiative aims to streamline the process of sending standard letters. Currently, collection points are located separately. Under the new system, these collection points will be relocated to the vicinity of the nearest parcel locker. For larger, more modern parcel lockers, customers will be able to deposit letters directly into an integrated slot within the machine itself.

For older or smaller parcel locker units that do not have integrated slots, a separate mailbox will be installed adjacent to the locker. This ensures that all parcel locker locations will accommodate letter posting, making the service more accessible and convenient for customers.

The move is part of Omniva's ongoing efforts to modernize its logistics and customer service infrastructure, consolidating services and improving efficiency in mail handling.
