One in three youth football clubs has a waiting list, KVC Kessel-Lo says nearly 400 children are waiting

As the youth football competition starts again today, one in three clubs faces a shortage of places for young players, according to figures from Voetbal Vlaanderen.

KVC Kessel-Lo is among the clubs affected. It says nearly 400 children are waiting for a place, about as many players as the club currently has active.
