One Minor Injury Reported in Belgrade Traffic Accident Overnight; Emergency Services Respond to Over 110 Calls

Belgrade's emergency services were kept busy overnight, responding to a variety of incidents across the capital. The most significant event reported was a traffic accident that resulted in one person suffering minor injuries. The individual was promptly taken to a hospital for necessary medical evaluation and care.

One person sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident that occurred during the night in Belgrade, the Emergency Service announced.

Beyond the accident, the night saw a high volume of calls for the Serbian Emergency Medical Service (Hitna pomoć). In total, crews intervened in over 110 situations. A notable portion of these, 19 calls, occurred in public spaces and were largely attributed to individuals under the influence of alcohol. This highlights a recurring issue that strains emergency resources in the city.

The injured person was transported to the on-duty hospital for further diagnostics.

Additionally, the service noted a significant number of calls from chronic patients and individuals with asthma, indicating ongoing health concerns within the population. While the traffic accident was the primary reported incident, the overall activity underscores the constant demand placed on Belgrade's emergency responders.
