One Piece Legends: Whitebeard, Garp, and Others Past Their Peak Strength

In the expansive world of One Piece, numerous legendary figures continue to wield significant power, even though they have long passed their prime. Characters like Whitebeard, Garp, Sengoku, Big Mom, Silvers Rayleigh, and Scopper Gaban, who once dominated their eras, now contend with the effects of age, impacting their peak performance.

Despite their diminished physical prowess, these veteran characters remain influential and pose a considerable threat to any opponent. Their experience and residual strength ensure they are still forces to be reckoned with in the ongoing narrative.

Vice Admiral Tsuru, a seasoned member of the Navy who served during Gol D. Roger's time, possesses the Woshu Woshu no Mi Devil Fruit and Haki abilities. Though no longer in her prime, she remains an iconic figure in the Navy, having previously instilled fear in notorious pirates like Doflamingo.

Former Fleet Admiral Sengoku, one of the few Marines mastering all three types of Haki, wields the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu Devil Fruit, allowing him to transform into a giant Buddha. He was once considered a worthy rival by Roger and frequently clashed with Whitebeard. Age has inevitably tempered his power.

Charlotte Linlin, or Big Mom, once one of the most feared Four Emperors, is believed to have passed her peak, even while demonstrating immense strength during the Wano arc. As a contemporary of Roger and Whitebeard, she too is affected by decades of battles.

Silvers Rayleigh, the "Right Hand of the Pirate King," is still regarded as one of the world's strongest. He is proficient in all three Haki types, with two reaching advanced levels. However, Rayleigh himself admits that directly confronting top Four Emperors is now difficult, indicating a significant distance from his prime.

Scopper Gaban, known as the "Left Hand of the Pirate King," displayed extremely high-level Haki, including advanced Conqueror's Haki, and foresight abilities. While still incredibly powerful, he is no longer in his absolute peak condition.
