Đồng Nai Police Quickly Arrest 19-Year-Old Suspect in Gold Shop Robbery

Authorities in Đồng Nai, Vietnam, swiftly apprehended a 19-year-old suspect in connection with a gold shop robbery, recovering the stolen property within hours of the incident.

The alleged robbery occurred on August 15 when a young man entered the K.B.A gold shop in Chơn Thành ward. He reportedly asked to see a gold bracelet valued at approximately 17 million Vietnamese dong. After a brief examination, he claimed he would return later. However, he reappeared about 15 minutes later, asked to try on the bracelet again, and then fled the scene on a motorcycle without license plates.

The shop manager pursued and called for help, prompting a police report. Within three hours of receiving the report, police identified and arrested H.T.H, a student at a local university. He confessed to the crime and admitted to taking the bracelet to another gold shop to sell it.

Police collaborated with authorities in Trừ Văn Thố to recover the stolen gold bracelet and seized the motorcycle used in the commission of the crime. The suspect is currently in custody pending further investigation.
