Opera Singer Sandra Bagarić and Husband Celebrate Anniversary with Throwback Photos

Opera singer Sandra Bagarić and her husband Darko Domitrović are celebrating 29 years of marriage, marking over three decades of their enduring love story. Bagarić took to Instagram to share a series of cherished photographs, including some from their younger days at the beginning of their life together, accompanied by an emotional message.

Bagarić and Domitrović, known as one of the most harmonious couples in Croatia's public sphere, first met in 1992 when Bagarić moved to Zagreb to study at the Music Academy. There, she encountered Darko Domitrović, who was her professor at the time. Their romance quickly blossomed, and five years later, they exchanged vows.

Their journey together has produced two sons, Marko and Lovro. Bagarić has often shared anecdotes about their unique beginning, recalling their first meeting in 2022. "I came to Zagreb in 1992, saw a man in room number 13 at the Music Academy – I like the number 13 – and I said: 'I will have children with this man.' And those children are now 22 and 18 years old, and the rest is history," she recounted.

Domitrović himself once shared a memorable story about their relationship: it was Sandra who proposed to him. "We were at the seaside, my wife knelt down with a towel and in her swimming trunks and proposed to me right there on the beach. In front of our witnesses, Dino and Lovro Pogorelić. Nobody expected it, least of all me," he recalled with a laugh.

Their long-lasting love continues to inspire admiration among their many followers, who regularly send congratulations and well wishes on their shared posts. Sandra and Darko remain a shining example of a harmonious partnership and family life for over three decades.
