Operation Haste: Offshore criminal network behind Auckland meth lab shut down

A significant blow has been dealt to organized crime in New Zealand with the dismantling of an offshore criminal network responsible for methamphetamine production and distribution throughout Auckland. The successful operation, codenamed Operation Haste, was spearheaded by detectives from the National Organised Crime Group (NOCG).

The operation culminated in the seizure of 10 kilograms of methamphetamine, a substantial quantity of the illicit drug. Police investigations revealed the network's deep ties to transnational criminal elements, highlighting the international scope of drug trafficking operations affecting New Zealand.

Operation Haste was initiated following an extensive investigation into a group of individuals suspected of orchestrating the production and supply of methamphetamine across Auckland.
