Orbán set for key Tusványos speech on strengthening right-wing, foreign policy

Eight years ago, he accurately predicted the Russia-Ukraine war, explaining Russia's perspective on security and the need for buffer zones. He stated then that Russia would seek to establish buffer zones around its territory, with Ukraine becoming a victim of this geopolitical strategy.

Additionally, in 2016, Orbán was the first sitting head of government to publicly endorse Donald Trump's U.S. presidential candidacy at the Tusványos forum.
