ORF romance "Herzklang" starring Melissa Naschenweng gets a sequel

Austrian singer Melissa Naschenweng will return to the screen for a sequel to the ORF romance film "Herzklang – Zurück zu mir." The new production, titled "Herzklang – Gegenwind," began filming this week, with a planned release in 2027.

Naschenweng, who made her television acting debut in the first installment, will reprise her role in the new film. Patricia Frey is returning as director, working from a script by Harald Haller and Marc Brugger. The sequel is set to be broadcast on ORF 1 and the streaming service ORF On.

The original film, which aired in April, was a success, prompting the decision for a follow-up. Details about the plot of "Herzklang – Gegenwind" have not yet been released, but the continuation of the story is anticipated by viewers who enjoyed the first film.
