Organ donation campaign begins in Dhofar Governorate

An organ donation and surgical health awareness campaign, codenamed "Life After Life," has commenced in Salalah, located in Oman's Dhofar Governorate. The five-day event is part of the activities surrounding the Khareef Dhofar, the region's monsoon season, and seeks to significantly boost public understanding of organ donation's critical importance.

The campaign's objectives extend beyond organ donation awareness. It also aims to cultivate a broader health culture, emphasizing preventative care, early detection of health complications, and the advancements within surgical fields. By providing a platform for direct interaction, the initiative connects community members with medical professionals, including doctors and specialists.

The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, the Governor of Dhofar.
