Osun ADC gov candidate promises 24-hour power to drive growth

Najeem Salaam, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Osun State governorship election, has pledged to drive industrial development by ensuring a 24-hour electricity supply if elected. Salaam unveiled his manifesto on Monday in Osogbo, highlighting Osun State's rich potential, including fertile land, vibrant communities, and hardworking citizens.

Salaam's administration would pursue an ambitious power agenda, aiming for 24-hour supply through strategic investments, alternative energy, and public-private partnerships. He believes reliable power infrastructure will stimulate industrial growth, attract investors, and create thousands of jobs. "When there is power, industries emerge, jobs are created, and families prosper. When families prosper, communities flourish. This is the future we envision for Osun," he stated.
