Osun APC governorship candidate receives renewed support from Alubarika Movement

The Alubarika Movement, a socio-political group aligned with the National Secretary of Nigeria's All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru, has renewed its commitment to the governorship aspirations of Bola Oyebamiji, the APC candidate for Osun State.

During a strategic stakeholders' meeting held in Osogbo, the group issued a communiqué affirming its unwavering support for Oyebamiji's campaign. The meeting convened APC stakeholders from across all local government areas of the state. Participants unanimously reaffirmed their dedication to ensuring Oyebamiji's success in the August 15 governorship election.

The stakeholders also reiterated their loyalty to the APC, characterizing the Alubarika Movement as a vital socio-political platform within the party. They stated the movement's purpose is to strengthen and advance the APC's progressive ideals, structures, and electoral prospects both within Osun State and beyond. Membership, they emphasized, is contingent on loyalty to the APC, adherence to progressive principles, and a shared commitment to good governance, political inclusion, and sustainable development.

Ajibola Basiru, in a goodwill address, commended the movement's members and stakeholders for their resilience, dedication, and commitment to the APC's ideals. He urged them to maintain unity, discipline, focus, and proactivity in advancing the party's collective goals and sustaining grassroots mobilization throughout the state.

The stakeholders further pledged their continued support for President Bola Tinubu's administration and his re-election bid. They committed to ongoing efforts in mobilizing support for the APC at all levels, aiming to secure future electoral victories for the party.
