#OsunDecides2026: Final results from collation centre (LIVE UPDATES)

The final collation of results for the Osun State governorship election is underway at the designated center in Osogbo, the state capital. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officers are presenting results from the state's 30 local government areas for verification and final approval.

Early results suggest a close race, largely between the incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, and Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The election involves 15 political parties, but the contest has narrowed to these two main contenders.

Voter turnout has been described as impressive in some areas, while other local government areas reported lower participation. Correspondents on the ground also noted several instances of vote trading occurring at polling units throughout the state.

Osun State has a total of 2,399,233 registered voters, with 1,906,390 having collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). These eligible voters cast their ballots across 332 wards within the 30 local government areas of the South-western state.
