Outgoing Saudi envoy meets president

President Asif Ali Zardari met with the departing Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, at Aiwan-i-Sadr for a farewell engagement.

During the meeting, President Zardari expressed his deep appreciation for Ambassador Al-Malki's service and his significant contributions to fostering the long-standing fraternal and strategic relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The ambassador has been serving in Pakistan since 2017.

Zardari specifically acknowledged the warmth and cooperation extended by Ambassador Al-Malki during his tenure. He emphasized the ambassador's crucial role in advancing bilateral relations, noting particular progress in the political, economic, and trade spheres.

The president reiterated Pakistan's high regard for its time-tested friendship and strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia, acknowledging the Kingdom's consistent support. He expressed confidence that the strong foundation established during Ambassador Al-Malki's tenure would continue to underpin bilateral cooperation in the future.
