Over 1,000 State-Funded Graduates to Be Assigned to Kyrgyz Schools

Kyrgyzstan plans to assign over 1,000 graduates from state-funded programs to teaching positions in schools nationwide. The Ministry of Education confirmed that these assignments will align with requests submitted by district and city education departments, aiming to fill vacancies within the general education system.

The ministry is actively working on forecasting the country's future needs for pedagogical staff. This involves analyzing the number of available positions, student enrollment figures, the current structure of the teaching workforce, and specific regional or subject-matter demands. The goal is to determine the necessary annual output of trained teachers, going beyond just the current shortages.

Officials emphasize that simply increasing the number of graduates is insufficient to solve the deficit. A critical factor is ensuring that young specialists remain in their assigned schools, particularly in rural and remote areas. Creating favorable conditions to attract and retain educators is seen as paramount to maintaining a stable and effective education system.
