Over 339 kg of liquid methamphetamine seized in Turkey

Turkish law enforcement has successfully dismantled a significant drug trafficking operation, seizing approximately 339 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine. The large quantity of drugs was discovered during coordinated raids conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch in Istanbul and Sakarya.

The operations were the result of extensive technical and physical surveillance targeting individuals involved in the manufacturing and trade of illicit substances. Following the intelligence gathered, police teams executed simultaneous raids on five residential addresses, two business premises, and a truck identified as part of the trafficking network.

During the coordinated busts, five suspects believed to be involved in drug trafficking were apprehended. A thorough search of the targeted locations led to the discovery and seizure of the substantial amount of liquid methamphetamine. Authorities confirmed the total weight of the confiscated substance.

Those taken into custody are currently undergoing processing at the police department. They are expected to be brought before the judiciary to face charges related to the manufacturing and trafficking of illicit drugs. This operation marks a significant success for Turkish police in their ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime.
