Over 5,400 apartments to be supplied nationwide in fourth week of August

South Korea is preparing for a significant influx of new housing as over 5,400 apartment units are scheduled for supply in the fourth week of August. This marks a substantial offering in the nation's real estate market, with a considerable portion designated for public subscription.

According to real estate information provider Real Estate 114, a total of 5,430 units will become available across 10 different projects nationwide. Out of these, 3,649 units will be offered to the general public, indicating a focus on broader accessibility in the new housing supply.

Major projects leading this supply wave include 'Ssangyong The Platinum Seodaemun' located in Hongjeun-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Additionally, 'Sangdong Station Lotte Castle Signature' in Sangdong-dong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, is among the prominent developments set to open for applications. These projects are expected to attract considerable interest from prospective homebuyers in their respective regions.
