Oyebamiji flags off campaign, promises equitable resource distribution

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the upcoming Osun State governorship election, has officially launched his campaign, vowing to ensure equitable distribution of public resources across the state if elected. Addressing a rally in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Oyebamiji detailed his administration's plans for various sectors.

By the grace of God, when I become your governor, we will commence work on the Enuwa–Fajuyi Junction Road. We have also assessed the Ilare–Sabo Road and the Aderemi Road leading to Ondo Road.

During his campaign kickoff, Oyebamiji paid homage to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi. He presented an assessment report on the condition of roads within Ile-Ife metropolis, promising to commence work on the Enuwa–Fajuyi Junction Road, the Ilare–Sabo Road, and the Aderemi Road leading to Ondo Road. Additionally, he plans to renovate dilapidated primary schools and establish a modern market in Ile-Ife, reflecting its status as the cradle of the Yoruba race.

Oyebamiji also addressed civil servants, promising regular training and retraining opportunities both domestically and internationally, and assuring that nepotism would not be practiced. He criticized the current government's handling of the health sector, stating that hospitals are in disarray with inadequate personnel. His administration would focus on retaining health workers and providing farmers with hybrid seeds to boost agricultural output. He also pledged to partner with transport unions to improve their operations.
