Oyebamiji victory non-negotiable – Barau’s aide

Ibraheem Alli, Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, has declared the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, as "non-negotiable" ahead of the August 15 election.

Alli made this declaration during an empowerment program where he distributed N10,000 each to over 100 akara sellers in Ayedire Local Government Area. Beneficiaries from Ileogbo, Oluponna, Kuta, and Oke Osun communities received the cash gifts at the local government secretariat.

We have the Federal Government and the local governments. The middle tier must also come under APC control for the people to enjoy the full benefits of governance. By God’s grace, AMBO’s victory is non-negotiable.

He urged Osun State to align politically with the APC-controlled Federal Government and local councils, stating that the state's middle tier must also come under APC control for residents to fully benefit from governance. Alli expressed strong confidence in the APC's prospects, predicting a landslide victory for the party.

The empowerment program was designed to bolster the financial capacity of small-scale traders while simultaneously mobilizing support for Oyebamiji. Alli explained that supporting these traders and canvassing votes for the APC candidate demonstrates how politics can positively impact people's lives through philanthropy. APC leaders in the area, including the Chairman of Ayedire Local Government, Adejare Adigun, were present and encouraged beneficiaries to use the funds to expand their businesses.

I chose to empower akara sellers across Ayedire Local Government to support their businesses, canvass more votes for the APC governorship candidate in the August 15 governorship election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, and demonstrate that politics should improve the lives of the people through philanthropy.
