Oyo Rep declares senatorial ambition

Aderemi Oseni, the current lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, has officially declared his senatorial ambition for Oyo South in the 2027 general elections. This significant announcement was made during a high-level meeting with the influential Ibarapa APC Elders’ and Leaders’ Forum, comprising the G9 and the expanded G64 caucus, held at the party secretariat in Eruwa.

Party elders and leaders present at the meeting lauded Oseni's dedication and impact. Chief Michael Morawo, a leader from Ibarapa East, praised his delivery of democratic dividends and strengthening of the party structure. Former council chairman Chief Theophilus Adenrele commended his integrity, while chieftain Chief Francis Babalola described him as a humble leader committed to progressive ideals. The Chairman of the forum, Chief Timothy Jolaoso, affirmed Oseni's widespread grassroots acceptance, transcending political divides, and highlighted his capability, deep faith, and empathy for the downtrodden. Oseni also urged leaders to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid.
