Pachuca and Coach Esteban Solari Part Ways

Pachuca has announced the departure of head coach Esteban Solari, citing a failure to reach an agreement on contract renewal. The Argentine's exit comes after he guided the Tuzos to the Clausura 2026 semifinals, where they were eliminated by the regular season leaders, Pumas.

Solari was instrumental in elevating Pachuca's performance during his seven-month tenure, leading them to the brink of the final. His record with the club includes 23 matches, with 13 victories, four draws, and six defeats. The team scored 33 goals and conceded 23 under his guidance.

Meanwhile, Efraín Juárez's departure from Pumas is considered a done deal, although not yet official.
