Pacific island nations voice concern over missile test without naming China

Pacific island nations have expressed concern over a submarine-launched missile test conducted by China in July.

The concern was raised at the Pacific Islands Forum’s annual meeting in Palau. The member countries did not name China directly, but framed the discussion around the July launch.

The forum also called for advance notification at least 24 hours before such missile tests.
