Pahīatua homicide: Jeremy Palmer Robertson identified after body recovered from Rotorua lake

Police have identified the body recovered from a Rotorua lake as Jeremy Palmer Robertson, who had been wanted in connection with the death of his mother.

Robertson, who was in his 50s, disappeared last year. Police said they had sought him in relation to the death of Karen Gilbert-Palmer in Pahīatua last October.

His body was found in Lake Rotokākahi last week, and police later confirmed his identity.
