Pakistan forces kill 49 terrorists in KP, Balochistan operations

Pakistan's security forces have eliminated 49 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces over the past few days, the military's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Friday.

The operations, conducted jointly with police as part of a counter-terrorism campaign, targeted groups the military refers to as "Indian Proxies," "Fitna Al Khwarij" (banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan) and "Fitna Al Hindustan" (designated Balochistan-based groups), aiming to highlight India's alleged role in terrorism within Pakistan.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12 terrorists were killed in Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai, and Khyber districts. Recoveries from these operations included explosives, IED detonating remotes, weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles, which were subsequently destroyed.

Balochistan saw the elimination of 37 terrorists in ten intelligence-based operations across Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar, and Panjgur districts. A significant cache of weapons, explosive drums, and remote detonation equipment was seized and destroyed.
