Pakistan Security Forces Kill Over Nine Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

Balochistan's security forces have eliminated more than nine terrorists during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across the province, state media reported Tuesday. The coordinated actions were conducted under the banner of 'Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3' in the Ziarat, Harnai, and Surab areas.

During these operations, security forces also recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the slain militants. These recent successes are part of an ongoing intensified effort to combat terrorism and insurgency in Balochistan, a region that has faced persistent security challenges.

The report details a series of recent counter-terrorism engagements. On Monday, two terrorists were killed and three others injured in an IBO in Killi Zaik. The previous day, security forces neutralized seven terrorists in Kharan’s Lajay area. These operations build on Saturday's action where 10 terrorists were killed and several others injured in an IBO in the Shor Pard area of Khuzdar district, following an earlier incident in Surab where at least 18 terrorists were killed, eight of them due to a premature detonation.
