Palestine Signs Digital Cooperation Organization Charter at LEAP 2026

Technology, data and artificial intelligence are being presented at LEAP 2026 as one connected security ecosystem rather than a collection of separate tools. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior says its approach links field operations, command functions, public safety and digital services.

The ministry’s pavilion highlights six systems: field security and safety, rapid response, road safety, security cameras, digital services and institutional services. Together, they include 36 services and projects. Rapid response is designed to strengthen early intervention, while road-safety tools use technology and data to make roads safer. Security cameras offer wider visibility and more advanced monitoring, and digital services aim to make interactions easier and faster.

Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs Thamer Alharbi said the ministry has used modern technologies and AI to provide security, humanitarian services and public safety. He said its mission remains protecting people, building trust and giving service providers stronger digital capabilities.

Alharbi also pointed to Nafath, the national digital identity platform developed with the National Information Center. The platform serves more than 32 million beneficiaries across 1,245 linked platforms and has facilitated more than 6.5 billion transactions. Other initiatives on display include the Maidan Companion, which builds situational context and coordinates specialized emergency capabilities, and Absher Open Services, which enables governed integration across multiple entities.
