Panama and Ecuador Celebrate Cultural Gala at National Theater for Amphictyonic Congress Bicentennial

Panama and Ecuador joined forces for a vibrant cultural gala at the National Theater, commemorating the Bicentennial of the Amphictyonic Congress and honoring the birth of liberator Simón Bolívar. The event served as a testament to the growing cultural integration between the two nations.

The National Ballet of Panama captivated the audience with a rendition of the classic ballet "El Corsario." Under the artistic direction of Maestro Sasa Adamovic, the performance showcased the company's dancers, soloists, and principal performers in scenes inspired by marine settings, bustling bazaars, and palace gardens.

Complementing the classical performance, the National Dance Company of Ecuador presented "Mariposa de papel," a contemporary piece directed and performed by Luis Cifuentes.
