Panama Announces Official Roster for 2026 Caribbean Series Kids

Panama has unveiled its official 18-player roster for the upcoming Caribbean Series Kids tournament. The event is scheduled to take place from August 10 to 16 in Nayarit, Mexico. The team, representing Panama under the banner of Federales de Chiriquí, was chosen from an initial group of 31 pre-selected players.

Lauren Flores, president of Probeis' Technical Commission, acknowledged the difficulty in selecting the team due to the high talent level among the young players. "I think we have a team to compete this year, of course, but the experience is what counts... that these children live a unique experience that serves their development," Flores stated. This sentiment highlights the tournament's dual focus on competition and player development.

The upcoming edition will be the third iteration of the youth baseball championship. It will feature national teams from Panama, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Mexico will be represented by two teams: Mexico Verde and Mexico Rojo. The tournament schedule includes matches against the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico Rojo, and Mexico Verde, with game times adjusted to Panama's local time.
