Panama Opens Casco Antiguo Space to Promote Interior Tourism

Panama is experiencing a surge in tourism, having welcomed over 100,000 international visitors this year, according to the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP). This positive trend is fueling the nation's strategies to diversify its tourism portfolio beyond traditional attractions.

To achieve this, a dedicated promotional space has been established within the pedestrian zone of the historic Casco Antiguo in Panama City. This vibrant hub brings together local entrepreneurs, tour operators, and community representatives. They are actively promoting tourism packages, outdoor activities, and gastronomic experiences from Panama's interior regions to both local residents and international visitors.
