Panama's IMA Announces Agro-Fair Schedule for Tuesday

The Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) in Panama is continuing its "agro-fair" initiative to offer essential food items at affordable prices to the public. On Tuesday, June 2, these fairs will be held starting at 8:00 a.m. in multiple locations across the country.

Residents can expect to find a variety of staple goods, including rice, beans, pasta, oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, meat, apples, and other fruits, all offered at reduced costs. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on consumers by making basic necessities more accessible.

The specific locations for the agro-fairs on Tuesday include the grounds of the Communal Board of Victoriano Lorenzo in San Miguelito, the Local House of Los Pollos in Río Hato (Antón), the Communal Board of Santa Fe in Darién, the central park of Santa Isabel in Colón, the Communal Board of Sajalices in Chame (Panamá Oeste), the communal court of Querévalo in Alanje (Chiriquí), Limonada in the Chepo district (Panamá Este), the Rincón Hondo softball field in Pesé (Herrera), and the covered court of Rio de Jesús and the community of El Pilón in Montijo (Veraguas).
