Panama's national basketball team roster set for World Cup Qualifiers

Panama's national basketball team is gearing up for a pivotal phase in their quest for the 2027 FIBA World Cup, announcing their roster for the upcoming qualifiers. Under the guidance of Puerto Rican head coach Nelson Colón, the team aims to improve its standing in Group F during the fourth window of the tournament.

The squad features a blend of international experience and youthful talent, including captain Trevor Gaskins, Tyler Gaskins, Guillermo Navarro, and Roberto Armstrong in the guard positions. The forward and wing positions are filled by Ricardo Lindo Jr., Luis Rodríguez Jr., Justin Quintero, Anthony Hall, and Aaron Gedeón Layne, while Eric Romero, Gil Atencio, and Bryan Anderson will play center.

Panama faces a challenging schedule, hosting Canada on August 27th at the Roberto Durán Arena before traveling to face the Bahamas on August 31st.
