Panama vs. Dominican Republic match: Public transport recommended due to stadium parking limits

Panamanian authorities have announced a comprehensive security and mobility operation for the friendly international football match between Panama and the Dominican Republic, scheduled to take place at the Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez stadium. The Dirección Nacional de Operaciones de Tránsito (DNOT) will deploy 45 officers to manage traffic and ensure order before, during, and after the game.

In an effort to ease congestion and manage the expected large crowd, officials are strongly advising fans to utilize public transportation. Parking within the Ciudad Deportiva Irving Saladino, where the stadium is located, will be restricted to VIP personnel, media, and event suppliers. "Use all selective or collective transport, as within the facilities of the sports city, parking for fans is not contemplated," explained Lieutenant Isidro Díaz of the DNOT.

To further facilitate fan access, MiBus, the public transport operator, will provide a free shuttle service. This service will run from the El Crisol Metro station directly to the stadium, aiming to streamline the arrival of thousands of anticipated attendees. Meanwhile, the national team held its final training session, with midfielder Adalberto "Coco" Carrasquilla participating in light exercises, generating optimism among supporters.
