Partial Closures on Pan-American Highway in Rodman for Roadwork Starting August 14

Panama's National Police will deploy units along the Pan-American Highway to manage partial road closures. These closures will affect the stretch from Rodman towards La Chorrera, near the Bridge of the Americas. The work is scheduled to run from August 14 to September 15, with traffic disruptions expected daily between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The National Police will maintain deployed units on the Pan-American Highway, from the Puma Station, in Rodman, towards La Chorrera, due to partial closures that will be carried out for work on the road.

The National Police, through its National Directorate of Traffic Operations, stated the closures are necessary to ensure road safety and maintain traffic flow during the construction period. This initiative aims to facilitate the ongoing roadworks while minimizing inconvenience to commuters.

The actions will take place from August 14 to September 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., along this stretch, in order to guarantee road safety and contribute to traffic flow during the execution of the works.

Authorities are urging drivers to seek alternative routes to avoid congestion.
