The premium cafe scene in Seoul's affluent Gangnam district has intensified with the opening of Paul Bassett's latest strategic store. Located near Shin Nonhyeon Station, the new outlet faces direct competition from established premium cafes such as Starbucks Reserve and Twosome Place, which already have significant presences in the area.

Operated by Maeil Dairies subsidiary MZ C&D, the Paul Bassett store, set to open on July 3rd, is designed as a flagship location. It aims to consolidate the brand's core strengths by integrating coffee, desserts, and bakery items into a single, comprehensive space. This strategic approach is intended to capture a significant share of the high-end coffee market in one of Seoul's most competitive commercial zones.

Customers visiting the new Gangnam store can expect exclusive offerings, including specialty beverages like the 'Geisha G Blend Lungo' and 'Geisha G Blend Cafe Latte,' both made with premium Geisha beans. The dessert menu has also been enhanced, featuring items such as original Nutella ice cream and a variety of baked goods and cakes. This focus on unique, high-quality products is Paul Bassett's strategy to differentiate itself in a crowded market.
