Pavić and Arevalo cruise into second round in Montreal

Croatian tennis player Mate Pavić and his Salvadoran partner Marcelo Arevalo have successfully begun their campaign at the Montreal ATP Masters 1000 tournament, advancing to the second round in the men's doubles.

The third seeds secured a comfortable victory in their opening match, defeating the American duo of Robert Galloway and Evan King with a score of 6-3, 6-4. Pavić and Arevalo demonstrated their prowess by achieving a crucial break of serve in each set to seal the win.

Throughout the match, the pair faced only one break point opportunity from their opponents, which they successfully defended. They also capitalized on their chances, converting key points to break the Americans' serves, including in the first game of the second set.
