PDI dismantles clandestine drug laboratory in La Pintana

A police operation in La Pintana uncovered a clandestine laboratory used to process drugs, leading to six arrests and the seizure of more than 10 kilograms of illegal substances valued at about 162 million pesos.

Detectives from the Territorial Model Zero team of the La Pintana Criminal Investigation Brigade carried out the operation after an investigation identified a group allegedly involved in drug trafficking at several points across the commune.

Investigators paid particular attention to the locations used to sell the drugs. They were only a few meters from a kindergarten and secondary schools, according to the report.

Using evidence gathered during the investigation, the PDI executed four search warrants at different properties in the commune. The operation targeted both the suspected sales points and the clandestine processing laboratory.
