The two-time Grammy winner passed away days after suffering a stroke, his family confirmed. In a statement, his family expressed deep sorrow but found comfort in the global outpouring of love and support.

Bryson's career, which spanned over five decades, was marked by significant success, particularly his collaborations. His 1991 duet with Celine Dion for "Beauty and the Beast" earned them a Grammy and an Academy Award. The following year, he partnered with Regina Belle for "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, which also won an Oscar and topped the Billboard charts. He released 20 studio albums and was nominated for eight Grammys throughout his career. Born Robert Peapo Bryson in South Carolina, he began his music journey as a teenager and had his first R&B hit in 1978.
